Janine's Story

“Do what thy wilt, that is the whole of the law” Satanic Bible. What!!! Those words stuck in my mind as I tried to figure out why my life wasn’t working. Then a startling discovery came one night reading my Bible and Jesus (God Himself) said, “And going forward a little He fell on His face, and prayed, saying “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I desire, but as You desire.”

It wasn’t until I was 52 that I began to live these words. 40 of those years were spent wandering in the desert. No, God never left me but He did hide His face from me, and that was a blessing because He chose not to participate in my awful choices. What a Holy God, He stays above our gutter behavior so He can pull us out when we’re finished. When I understood that concept, the next step was plain, our favorite thing to do is try to make God into our image thus lowering His status and then we wonder why He isn’t bigger than our failures! Twisted huh? But I found out I was not alone in this system.

How does this talk about who I am to Daniel Wedekind? It is the lead in. If I would have chosen to continue with one leg in the world and one leg in the Bible, my life would never really change. There was no desire to study Yahweh’s Word and know within my heart of hearts that He is the Word! I would not have desired to study under a wonderful pastor and his wife for two plus years and even meet a wonderful family such as the Wedekinds. As we prayed for Dan’s wife and family, it was clear in Carmen’s passing that our brother was in severe distress. So, we prayed for him then too. Just as Abraham loved Sarah, so does Dan love Carmen. I am happy to be a comfort and partner to that sort of caliber of man.

We are now embarking on doing and being everything Yahweh has planned for us. I love to teach the Word, read the Word, study the Word and live it to the best of gifts He has given. Not perfect, just in love with the Savior. I pray you enjoy our teachings, music and company, if and when we ever travel your way!
